Abstract
Data interpolation is crucial for 3D multiple predictions, both surface related multiple elimination (SRME) and wave field extrapolation (WFE); particularly for wide azimuth survey (WAZ). Combining the data interpolation with SRME and WFE helps to improve the multiple prediction quality. Data regularization also helps RTM imaging without any additional cost.
