Abstract

The paper presents significant aspects of the numerical simulation of a high-frequency converter with a voltage-fed inverter and its control system. With respect to this numerical simulation, an original procedure of local-iterative linearization for the integration of differential equations is used. According to the proposed method, the behaviour of the static converter-control system unit is analysed and the obtained results are interpreted; some experimental results are also presented. The conclusions highlight the benefits of the method, this study representing a first stage in the design of such converters with the aim of framing them in advanced control systems. >
