Abstract
1. Mixers of the SM type, now in use, are very effective in the preparation of mixtures of the components of equivalent materials of various compositions, both at room temperature and with heating. 2. The method devised for monitoring mixture quality permits establishment of the principal technical parameters of the opeation of any mixers. 3. The results of our investigation show that it is necessary to make careful determinations and to keep strict observance of the technique for preparing mixtures for equivalent materials.
