Abstract
AbstractA rather simple method of lead salt diode laser fabrication is described. The optimization of the diffusion process forming the pn‐junction is especially discussed with regards to the various carrier concentrations of the as‐grown crystals. Liquid nitrogen cooled lead salt diode lasers of the described type meet all demands of a laser based air pollution monitoring device.
