Some aspects of the organizational and legal mechanism of international cooperation of Russian law enforcement agencies in countering transnational crime

Abstract

SOMEASPECTSOFTHEORGANIZATIONALANDLEGALMECHANISMOFINTERNATIONALCOOPERATIONOF RUSSIANLAWENFORCEMENTAGENCIESINCOUNTERINGTRANSNATIONALCRIME The article deals with the peculiarities of the interaction of domestic law enforcement agencies with the competent authorities of foreign states in the fight against crime. The author examines the priority areas of “police cooperation” on the basis of interdepartmental agreements concluded within the competence of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation that do not contradict current legislation and international principles, treaties ratified by the Russian Federation.
