Abstract
The following article is the Russian editor's introduction to the Geochemistry of Silica (Moscow, 1966, USSR Academy of Sciences). The Table of Contents of the book is given on pages' 28-29, accompanied by brief explanatory statements of each title. Staff translations of several articles from the book will be published in later issues of ICR. Articles already selected for translation and publication are marked by asterisks in the Table of Contents. — Editors.
