Abstract

Parkinsonism is known to not only be a movement disorder. All symptoms in this pathological condition are also accompanied by pathological changes in the higher functions of the brain, emotional sphere, and other neurological systems. Along with this, there remains the problem of differential diagnostics between disorders directly related to Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonism, in particular of vascular origin. The aim of the study was to conduct a comparative assessment of cognitive impairment in vascular parkinsonism and Parkinson's disease.
