Abstract
Our museums have large experience in performing archaeological excavation in Belgium and in other countries. Four years ago we became interested in Russia and especially in Siberia. We are conducting excavations in two regions: around Lake Baikal and in the Altai mountains (the Ukok plateau). We proposed to sign agreements with three large Russian museums: State Armory Museum in the Kremlin, Historical Museum of the Kremlin, and the Hermitage. At present we are planning to organize at the royal Museum a new exhibition hall “Russian Museum” in which temporary exhibitions seen as joint ventures with Russian museums will be organized.Keywordsarchaeologymuseumsexhibitionspazyrykpaleolithic
