Abstract

In terms of a triangle ABC in the complex Euclidean plane, a formula is found for the coordinates of the unique pair of isogonal conjugate points on a given line. When the given line is at infinity, the two conjugate points are seen to be Poncelet's “circular” points, with the surprisingly simple coordinates ( e ± Bi , e ∓ Ai , − 1).
