Abstract

On-demand transport (ODT) systems have been developed worldwide because of their important economic, social and environmental advantages. However, it is essential to get the public approval to accomplish their positive aspects. In this article, we propose a decentralized multi-agent based model to resolve the ODT problem. Two decentralized negotiation strategies are proposed. These strategies allow finding the best vehicle within a fleet responding to passengers transport demands. The theoretical and experimental results present the complexity and the number of exchanged messages when comparing the two negotiation strategies and taking into account the literature.
