Abstract

We first argue that the classical methods of solving fuzzy equations are too restrictive and a new solution concept is needed. We then review our results for our new solution method for fuzzy equations, systems of fuzzy equations, and fuzzy differential equations. We compare the classical solutions (when they exist) to our solution and present applications in algebra, economics, decision theory and physics. Numerous areas for future research are pointed out.
