Abstract
Solvent extraction of technetium and molybdenum using quaternary ammonium iodides in benzene and chloroform was carried out from neutral and alkaline media. The influence of the anomalous activity coefficients of the extractants on the solvent dependency has been examined. The separation of Tc from Mo with good single stage separation factors is reported.
