Abstract

Three Zinc(Ⅱ) coordination polymers with 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3btc) were synthetized by solvothermal method in N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA), or mixed solvents DMA/H2O(1:1 volatio), respectively. Both [Zn2(NO3−)(btc)(DMA)3]n, 1 and{[Zn3(btc)2(DMA)3]•2DMA}n, 2 were simultaneous obtained when using DMA as solvent, and {(CH3)2H2N+ [Zn(btc)]•(H2O)(DMA)}n, 3 was self-assembled in the mixed solvent DMA/H2O. Compound 1 shows 3D framework with two crystallographic independent zinc ions; and Compound 2 is a 3D porous framework with three crystallographic independent zinc ions and the ligand bdc have two kinds of link modes. Moreover, 2D (4,4′) network compound 3 has only one crystallographic independent zinc ions, then the 2D (4,4′) network stacking as AAA… modes along a axis to form 3D hydrogen bonded network. Therefore, the solvents play an important role in the process of self-assembly with zinc ions and ligands. Furthermore, the compound 3 represent selective photocatalytic degradation for organic dyes, and there is best photocatalytic efficiency for methyl orange in the catalysis system with H2O2.
