Abstract

In the September issue of Science, Sidhik et al. reported a solution-based 2D:3D perovskite bilayer fabrication guideline. With donor number and dielectric constant-based solvent selection method, they successfully made high-quality 2D perovskite material coated on top of 3D perovskite material without damaging it. Their 2D:3D bilayer perovskite solar cell showed surprisingly high stability of 2,000 h running photovoltaic performance with an efficiency of ∼24%.
