Abstract
A computational model has been developed for time simulation of the interaction of a massless filamentary tokamak plasma with the vacuum vessel and external circuits. The non-linear circuit equations are solved in a way which allows the dynamical characteristics of the power supplies to be easily incorporated. This model is used to explore the relationship of plasma control programming, coil characteristics and power supply requirements.
