Abstract
This paper aims to probe dynamics of food chain ecoepidemic model postulating infection at the bottom trophic level. The recently developed model of De Rossi et al. (Ecol Complex 21:233–245, 2015) in which a three level food web subject to a disease affecting the bottom prey is considered. The three level food web embraces a top predator, intermediate population, and the bottom prey which is affected by an epidemic. Two strong methods, namely Laplace Adomian decomposition and differential transformation methods are exerted to obtain solutions for the considered nonlinear model. Employing the abovementioned methods, dynamical behavior of the system is predicted. Afterwards, influence of different parameters is fully delineated on the targeted system.
