Abstract

This paper describes a solution-oriented classroom management plan which was developed and piloted in a regular education Grade One classroom in a high-needs school. Solution-oriented principles in this educational context help to provide a positive and effective classroom environment for both academic and social development. Extensions for the use of a solution-oriented framework are proposed for other aspects of school communication and management.
