Abstract

The stable method of soloing inverse problems in heat transfer and inverse problems concerning thermal stress control in elements of complex shapes is presented. Based on the discrete form of Duhamel's integral and on so-called future time steps, a simple and accurate method of solving one- and multi-dimensional inverse problems is developed. Two examples illustrating the application of the described method are presented.
