Abstract

The Fokker-Planck equation is used to treat the large angle as well as small angle ion-electron collision in relativistic magneto- plasma having anisotropy in temperature. The relevant collision integrals are formulated with the introduction of an appropriate equilibrium distribution function. The kinetic equation is derived from first principle and Chapmann-Enskog type of approximation is employed to derived the modified expressions for the first order perturbed distribution function f11 + and the corresponding diffusion drift velocity (Ud) exhibiting the effects of anisotropy in temperature.
