Abstract
The exhaustible energy sources that are limited and generate themselves in nature are known as nonconventional energy or renewable energy source. It includes tidal energy, solar energy, and wind energy. Fossil fuels that can be named conventional energy sources are limited stock in nature; with the continuous use of fossil fuels, it would go extinct. Since the evolution and improvement of mankind are very close to energy sources, most of the countries throughout the world have enlisted in pursuit and exploration of nonconventional energy sources that are very useful to sustain the human life cycle. The major command within a utility’s energy control center is automatic generation control (AGC), the aim of which is to keep tracking the load variations with retaining the system frequency, tie-line interchanges, and best generation level close to specified values so that nominal frequency and tie-line schedules are sustained. This can be accomplished with practical and smart controllers. The AGC is amalgamation of wind, hydro, and thermal power plants, which has connected with progressive 210controllers. Particle swarm optimization is highly productive and reliable in calculations of dissimilar gains in load-frequency control. Moreover, particle swarm optimization recital is much better than gradient descent to get the best-optimized result for the discrete parameter and controller, which enhanced vital performance for three area networks.
