Abstract
Acceleration is used for monotonic form and oscillatory form of convergence of individual voltage magnitudes and angles of the fast decoupled Newton Raphson Load Flow Problem. This causes the otherwise slowly converging solutions to rapidly converge. The technique is illustrated by considering a particular ill-conditioned system configuration in an expansion study.
