Abstract

In this paper, parallel fulfillment is developed for calculation of the electric field and radiation patterns of three-dimensional electromagnetic (EM) radiation problems by using time-domain finite element method (TDFEM). To speed up the calculation process, SuperLU of a Message Passing Interface (MPI) version called SuperLU_DIST is employed in this approach. Finally, a rectangular waveguide and a two-segment dielectric resonator antenna (TSDRA) are computed to validate the accuracy and stability of the scheme.
