Abstract

The present work reports Mn3O4 thin film preparation by chemical spray pyrolysis technique. XRD of all samples confirms polycrystalline nature having tetragonal crystal structure of Mn3O4. SEM of prepared samples revels nano-grains type semi porous morphology. In electrochemical characterization, CV study revel mixed capacitive behavior of all samples exhibiting maximum specific capacitance 804.11 F/g at the scan rate 1 mV/s in 1 M Na2SO4. Optimised electrode shows excellent electrochemical stability at 100 mV/sec scan rate up to 2500 cycles. Calculated electrical parameters from charge–discharge studies i.e. specific energy, specific power and columbic efficiency are 4.93, 0.969 kW/kg and 82.63% respectively. Internal resistance observed from Nyquist plot is ~2.60 Ω.
