Abstract
This paper describes the solution and solid phase synthesis of different heterocyclic systems from the common intermediate 6 and 16. A series of pteridines, purines and a 7-deazaguanine have been synthesized in solution. The chemistry has been transferred to the solid phase using a polystyrene resin through a sulfur linker. Cleavage of the resins has been achieved by oxidation followed by nucleophilic displacement.KeywordsSolid Phase SynthesisAldol ReactionAmino PyrimidineCommon IntermediatePolystyrene ResinThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
