Abstract

1. The insertion of alkoxyl substituents into the benzene rings of diacetylenes of the diphenylethane series leads to obtaining soluble and film-forming polyacetylenic oligomers. 2. The oligomers are typical dielectrics, but when subjected to thermal crosspolymerization they sharply increase their conductivity and become semiconductors.
