Abstract

This study is intended to be a full scale process feasibility study which will translate experimental results into a form which can be used by practicing engineers as part of the overall effort to combat eutrophication of our waters. Data collected to date show the process to be a reliable method for precipitating phosphorus from domestic wastewater while at the same time realizing enhanced removal of BOD. Detailed operating procedures and cost data are being developed and will be part of the final report.
