Abstract

The solubility of oxygen in liquid sodium-potassium alloy has been measured as a function of temperature and alloy composition. The temperature dependence of the solubility was studied with two different alloy compositions, and the composition dependence at a constant temperature of 473 K. These data are analysed on the basis of various models for the solubility of non-metals in liquid binary alloys.
