AbstractThe solubility of copper in Outokumpu commercial slag at 1250°, 1300°, and 1350°C was studied by achieving equilibrium between the slag-reduced Cu–Pb–Fe alloy and CO–CO2 mixtures. The results are interpreted by making use of the equilibriaCu2O Slag =2CuO0·5Slag Cu2O Slag =2Cu alloy +0·5O2gas
