Abstract

Several exact and approximate solutions of the type are presented for the coupled field equations of a complex <P field (Schrodinger type or Klein-Gordon type) and a real ¢ field (Klein-Gordon type). The solutions never approach to asymptotic free fields in remote past and future or as the coupling constant goes to zero. Some of them can be explained as a sort of bound state in a certain running potential. It is suggested that the type solution with such properties would be useful for proper formulation of the confinement problem, in other words, we could construct a desir­ able dynamical particle model with the soliton bag. Prior to detailed discussion on the solutions we talk about various possibilities of making particle models in terms of the solitons.
