Abstract

In this paper, the Tanh method is employed to compute the exact solutions for nonlinear PDEs. These equations are (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa , potential-YTSF, and generalized KP equations. The solutions obtained by this method are compared with the solutions obtained through other methods. It is shown that the Tanh method provides a powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.
