Abstract
A new type of highly nonlinear difference-differential equations related to the discrete KdV equation is studied. An N-soliton solution for this equation is presented by using Hirota's method. A 1- and a 2-soliton solution are also examined, and it is found that a new type interaction takes place in the 2-soliton solution.
