Abstract

We investigate the nature of nonlinear spin excitations in an anisotropic Heisenberg ferromagnetic spin ladder with ferromagnetically coupled rungs in the presence of a site and spin-dependent Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya type interaction in the semiclassical limit. The spin ladder system is found to exhibit soliton spin excitations for specific parameter values. In the general case we construct perturbed solitons.
