Abstract

The effects of the soliton damping due to the scattering from impurities or from other thermal solitons on the dynamical correlation functions are considered within a phenomenological model. It is shown that the spin-correlation functions of quasi-one-dimensional magnetic systems like ${(\mathrm{C}{\mathrm{H}}_{3})}_{4}$NMn${\mathrm{Cl}}_{3}$ (TMMC) and CsCo${\mathrm{Cl}}_{3}$ depend strongly on the soliton damping.
