Abstract

The nonlinear collisional dynamics of a ferromagnet with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction is investigated. The governing dynamical Landau–Lifshitz equation is consistently reduced to a nonlinear partial differential equation through a complex stereographic projection method introduced for the magnetization spin components. An investigation of the collision dynamics of the soliton is made through the Hirota bilinearization method and shows that inherent antisymmetric spin coupling induced by the Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction contributes an effective shape changing collision for the interacting solitons.
