Abstract

THE purpose of this report is to place on record a case of proved solitary unicameral bone cyst in an infant seven weeks of age, and to indicate that the origin of such a cyst may be a congenital defect present in the cartilaginous matrix or occurring at the time of ossification of cartilage.In an extensive review of the literature no case report of a solitary unicameral bone cyst at this age could be found.
