Abstract

A 46-year-old woman with metastatic breast carcinoma presented with diplopia and oculomotor nuclear palsy. Magnetic resonance imaging 1 month later demonstrated a solitary, discrete midbrain metastasis to the oculomotor nuclear complex. To our knowledge, this is only the third reported case of mammary carcinoma metastatic to the oculomotor nuclear complex and the first case demonstrated by magnetic resonance imaging.
