Abstract
Juvenile polyps are one of the most common sources of gastrointestinal bleeding in childhood. These polyps are nonneoplastic hamartomas that occur in up to 2% of children. The author presents the case of an 8-year-old boy with recurrent rectal bleeding due to a singular juvenile polyp. This article is part of an expert video encyclopedia.
