Abstract

Two cases of solitary intramedullary Schwannomas diagnosed and treated surgically are reported. The discussion reviews the 16 previously published cases, and examines the various clinical and paraclinical manifestations of these tumors. Some of the difficulties encountered in treatment are discussed.
