Abstract
A case of extramedullary plasmacytoma of mesentery is being reported due to its rarity. To date only six cases have been reported in the literature out of which only one is from India. Subsequent investigations for myeloma like urinary Bence-Jones proteins, serum electrophoresis, radiological skeletal examination, bone marrow biopsy were negative. The diagnosis of plasmacytoma was confirmed by pathological and immunohistochemical studies. Surgical excision of the mass was done.
