Abstract

Layers depleted of Li-ions in solid-state electrolytes have a substantial impact on the performance of all-solid-state batteries. In article number 2100585, Aliaksandr S. Bandarenka and co-workers develop a practical strategy to measure the thickness of such space charge layers and the corresponding concentration of Li-ions by applying spectroscopic ellipsometry to emerging battery materials.
