Abstract
ABSTRACT SEDIMENTATION tanks were installed at dipping vats at two cattle feedlots. The tanks removed 2 to 93 g of solids per head dipped, depending upon flowrate, duration and other factors. Pesticide disposal volume was reduced 50% or more. The number of cattle dipped per vat recharge was doubled. Sedimentation tanks were cost effective.
