Abstract

This paper presents new determination methods for five tetracycline antibiotics by solid surface-room temperature phosphorescence with filter paper and polyamide membrane treated with sucrose as solid substrates and TlAc or TlNO 3 as heavy atom salts. Various factors affecting RTP intensity of tetracyclines, such as type of solid substrate, heavy atom effect, enhancement of modifier, pH, drying temperature, predrying and drying time of sample, were studied in detail. The linear dynamic ranges (LDRs) are from 0.50 to 200 ng, the limits of detection (LODs) are from 0.01 to 1.0 ng/spot, and the relative standard deviations are all < 5%.
