Abstract

Background and Aim: Solid pseudo papillary epithelial neoplasm (SPEN) of the pancreas is a rare cystic tumor of the pancreas. It has low-grade malignant potential with 5% developing into metastases. It is often clinically asymptomatic or can present with an enlarging epigastric mass. Less commonly, SPEN presents with biliary obstruction causing jaundice and pruritus.
