Abstract

Abstract A corona discharge (CD) ion mobility spectrometer (IMS) made in our laboratory was used for the rapid determination of trace dichlorovos in tea drinks. The drift gas was dry N 2 , and the temperature of the drift tube was 180 °C. Spiked samples with different dichlorovos concentrations were analyzed by the CD-IMS combined with solid phase microextraction. Thermal desorption of the analyte was carried out by inserting the extracting rod directly into the heated drift tube, the detection process was completed within 15 min. This method could be used for the rapid detection of organophosphorus pesticide residues such as dichlorovos and malathion. The detection limit of dichlorovos in tea drinks based on 3 times the baseline noise was 6 μg kg −1 .
