Abstract
The present article provides a precise and concise discussion of different types of solar thermal systems and their applications in both domestic and industrial sectors. The article also discusses feasibility of integration of different types of solar thermal systems with power generation cycles for power generation. A case study is provided to compare two integrated solar-based power generation systems through energy and exergy analyses and assessments.
