Introduction

Food shortage is one of the greatest difficulties encountering mankind in the 21st century. The greenhouse practice which has been in existence for years is modernized, automated, and deployed in many parts of the world. This technology is yet to be embraced and incorporated by many developing countries (Okunola, 2013). Mushroom cultivation entails little space and time and farmers can make use of their rice straws following the harvesting method. Mushrooms can be grown the whole year round as long as good storage of rice straw is arranged and provided. The greenhouse plantation plays a vital role in the mushroom production industry due to its low-cost industrial unit and the horizontal space it provides
