Abstract

Nowadays, global warming is one of the biggest problems of humanity and the main reason is energy production. Therefore, renewable energies such as wind, rain, tides, waves and sunlight are an appropriate way for producing clean energy. In this study, suitable locations for solar power plant are analysed. To do this, data and information acquired from three decision-making groups are implemented to improve an analytical tool that integrates modified fuzzy DEMATEL and fuzzy MOORA. The weights of criteria and sub-criteria are calculated by the fuzzy DEMATEL method. Decision-making groups select five eligible regions for a solar power plant in Turkey, and the fuzzy MOORA method is used to rank regions. Also, a sensitivity analysis was performed using the fuzzy AHP method and as a result, it was observed whether there was a change in the order of the alternatives.
