Abstract
Solar cells composed of two organic layers have been prepared. Thin films of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) and perylene tetracarboxylic (PTCD) with thicknesses of about 50 nm have been, respectively, deposited on silicon substrates using a sublimation technique. The prepared cells show an improvement of approximately 20% in their physical parameters over the cells fabricated with only one organic layer.
