Abstract
AbstractNaLu1-xYbx(WO4)2 films have been prepared by spin coating of sol-gel precursor solutions and thermal annealing between 400 and 800 °C. Films obtained on sapphire have a dense and transparent ceramic microstructure and photoluminescence properties similar to those of single crystals with same composition. The application of these films as laser media is envisaged.
