Abstract
The TiO2 and CdS nanoparticles were synthesized using sol gel method. TiO2 -CdS nanocomposite was synthesized by ultra-sonication method. The SEM image reveals the spherical shaped pure TiO2 and pure CdS nanoparticle and was uniformly mixed in the TiO2 -CdS nanocomposite. The photocatalytic result reveals that MB dye removal was observed to be higher in the TiO2 -CdS nanocomposite as compared with pure TiO2 nanoparticle for 90 minutes of visible light irradiation.
